Project Overview
La Roqqa is a luxury boutique hotel & beach club in Tuscany. While working at Stormfors, I contributed to the team responsible for designing and building a multilingual Webflow site with rich animations and a custom reservation system.
The site had to be delivered under a tight timeline to coincide with the hotel’s grand opening and the launch of international ad campaigns. The goal was to create a visually striking, interactive experience that worked seamlessly in English, Italian, and French, while supporting direct bookings through an integrated reservation system.

The Challenge
The project came with several unique challenges:
- High visual and brand standards — As a luxury hotel, the site needed to reflect exclusivity and refinement, with flawless animations and layouts.
- Multilingual requirements — Content had to be easily managed in three languages (EN, IT, FR), requiring a flexible but reliable localization system.
- Reservation system integration — Direct booking functionality was critical for revenue, with AZDS booking engine integrated seamlessly into the flow.
- Time-critical delivery — The site needed to go live before the hotel opened and while ad campaigns were running, leaving no margin for delays.
My Role
As part of the development team, I focused on turning complex design into a responsive, maintainable Webflow build under tight deadlines:
- Initial Build – Developed the homepage and key sections like Rooms & Suites, ensuring high fidelity to design.
- CMS Architecture – Structured dynamic content collections for rooms, offers, and experiences, enabling easy updates by hotel staff.
- Animations – Implemented responsive, immersive motion using Webflow Interactions, balancing visual impact with performance.
- Responsive Design – Adapted intricate grid layouts and unique design patterns across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
- Collaboration – Worked closely with designers and other developers to coordinate efforts and ensure consistent quality despite the fast timeline.

- Direct revenue enablement — Seamless booking engine integration supported direct reservations without friction.
Reflection
This project reinforced how important collaboration and speed are when working on high-stakes launches. For luxury hospitality, every detail in design fidelity and motion matters.
If I revisited this project, I would:
- Expand accessibility testing (screen readers, contrast checks).
- Explore performance optimizations for heavy media (hotel photography/video).
- Add lightweight documentation for hotel staff to manage CMS content more confidently.
